"When the dominant races of the Blasted Plains finally
banded together into one faction, determined to march out of their homeland and
take the outside world for themselves, the Cauldron clan decided to permanently
shroud their warriors' faces in masks. This was not to hide their identities
from others, as they did not care who recognized them - and there would be no
survivors to point them out anyway. Instead, the measure was taken so that the
warriors would themselves forget their own faces, and with them - their
individuality, becoming nothing but parts of a whole: the weapon of the
clan."
