Below I insert a small passage from this character's in-game
storyline:
"For the natives of the Blasted Plains, death is,
well... a way of life. Everything in their surroundings is deadly: the
environment - barren, yet always in uproar. The animals - predators: eternally
hungry and aggressive. And the fellow inhabitants - ruthless and violent. So
when your clan's culture revolves around expansion, conquest and consumption of
new resources, and the elimination of any competition, your best bet is being
capable of beating anyone at their own game. But what advantage could you possible
hope to get when everyone around you can move fast and kill quick? Well, how
about if you could move just as fast and kill just as quick, but also do it
from a distance and set your opponent on fire while you do it? And some of your
adversaries might be immune to fire, and thus think themselves save. All the
worse for them, because nobody's immune to an arrowhead to the throat."
