hadaara project

I insert here a short passage of the character's in-game fiction:

"As is true with countless other worlds, so too on Hadaara, the first animals to walk the face of dry land were the great lizards: the Saurians. Millions of years before any other race had even reared its head from the pool of evolution, the Saurians had empires, wars, technology, industry. They reached a point where they had almost destroyed themselves by allowing these things to be the center of their lives. But they surpassed the crisis. They left all those things behind and strove for enlightenment. Eventually they discovered magic and mastered its use, and then watched as other races, other species gained sentience, and began their own struggle, just as they once had. But this time the Saurians were there to guide a few of them - the ones that accepted it - on the path of Wisdom. And now that a new great conflict is brewing, out of the same old foolish reasons, the Priestmages of the Saurians will use that which experience has taught their race to stop more blood from being spilled - no matter what the cost."
