In the images shown, you can see how the character
progressed from a very basic, rough sketch to finished item. I had initially
intended for him to wield a flame-thrower, but eventually dropped the idea in
favor of a device which might emit an electrical arc, due both to the decision
that it flames of any kind would be the domain of the next team, and the fact
that a flamethrower would realistically require gas power, rather than steam
power.
