Saurian Priestmage
In attempting to suggest the notions of Peace and Wisdom in
the case of this, the first character of the Blue Team, I made use of several
elements of visual-language. Some of these elements were easier to implement,
such as indicating the figure's inherently peaceful occupation through the
design of his clothes - the simple, white robes of a monk - or the use of a
soft, soothing blue-white light to add a sense of calm.
One principle, however, proved a bit more complicated: as I
had already decided on this individual's form as being that of some kind of
humanoid-amphibian or humanoid-reptile hybrid, I was faced with a challenge
when I finally decided to employ facial-expression as an indicating element.
