The resulting image is thus a hybrid of two identities: that
of a monk - as suggested by the rough linen robe and rope belt - and that of a
rogue or brigand, as hinted at by the wide leather hat and mask.
Any other competing visual elements are eliminated or
hidden, but unlike the similar example on the Yellow Team, I did not completely
conceal the face, considering instead that the expression of the eyes, rather
than acting as a distraction, can in this case strengthen the look of stolid determination and conviction characteristic of this team.
Still, I felt this wasn't quite enough to properly suggest
the visual image that I wanted to convey. So to complete the look, I added one
single detail: a small point of white light, emitted by the tip of his magic
wand, and symbolic of enlightenment and spirituality.
