As with the concept of nature, there are potentially
numerous ways to try to visually transmit to the viewer the idea of characters
being intelligent. But while many of these suggestions might, as in the case of
nature, be misinterpreted or overlooked as such, I chose one indicator which
cannot: technology.
The application, and indeed very existence of technology
cannot occur without a generating intelligence. And assumingly: the higher the
intelligence, the higher the level of sophistication of technology.
